During the night of December 31, a pedestrian fell from the bridge and hit a moving vehicle.

The Municipal Firefighters treated the injured, both the pilot and the pedestrian and according to the version of the vehicle driver, Domingo Coyoy, García Hernández was walking on the overpass that connects to two shopping centers in the sector when he fell suddenly.

After the incident, the pedestrian and the driver of the vehicle were taken to a hospital to be treated, while the authorities proceeded to remove the car that was severely damaged.

The subject, who was not identified, was unable to stand up as he attempted to recklessly advance along the lanes.

Motorists who were circulating in that sector stopped the traffic and helped the subject to get to the other side of the road.

Various versions of what happened at Roosevelt circulated on social media. Some opined that the man was thrown from a moving vehicle or that he was a person suffering from metal disorders.

However, the incident was confirmed by Amílcar Montejo, spokesman for the Municipal Traffic Police of the capital, who stated that the stranger was drunk.

Volunteer firefighters took the man to a health center for a medical evaluation.
