Klopp will not direct Liverpool against Chelsea due to possible positive for covid

Like Klopp, three other members of Liverpool’s coaching staff would have tested positive for the coronavirus but the club is not considering requesting a postponement of the match of the 21st day against the ‘Blues’.

Chelsea are second in the Premier League, with one point ahead of Liverpool, third.

Both need to win on Sunday to keep up with leaders Manchester City, who beat Arsenal 2-1 this Saturday and provisionally distanced with 11 points over Chelsea and 12 over Liverpool.

The wave of covid-19 that the United Kingdom currently suffers has caused in recent weeks the postponement of 18 Premier League matches.
